Charlie visited with me while on a number of business trips that brought him to Colorado. We had a good friendship as kids and it grew stronger as the years passed. Louisa and I stayed with him and Marilyn, at their home in Indiana, in August 2004 while we were on a road trip.

During his last two years he had a number of illnesses that pysisans were unable to diagnose. While he suffered much pain from the unnown caue(s)that is not what led to his passing. Charlie died from a blood clot on the brain sustained after a fall. He died a week before his birthday in 2008.
