Judy was so cute and perky, very smart and popular. Judy was the type person you knew would have a perfect life. As to whether she did or not is not known to me, as we lost contact after graduation. God rest your beautiful soul, Judy you are remembered fondly.

Sue and Adrian have said it very well. I remember seeing Judy a few times when we were both at Northwestern. She was always very sweet and absolutely charming. I remember the guy who lived across the hall from me approached me one day to ask me about her. He had met her and was quite smitten, and apparently she told him we were from the same home town.

I hope she had as good a life as she certainly deserved.

Judy had a crush on me in 7th or 8th grade...unfortunately, I wasn't interested in girls at that time. I missed my chance because she "moved on". Even so, we stayed good friends through High School.

In the mid-60s I was living in the New York area and she was in Queens. We got together a couple of times...as I recall she was a flight attendant with Pan American Airways. It's in New York that she met David Dworkis.

We lost touch, and I was very sad to see she that she passed away.

Friends and classmates,

I could not have put together the information above without the help of Gary Shackelford who not only provided some of it, but also put me in contact with Jim and MaryLou Sunderland who were kind enough to share their family's memorial booklet for Judy with me and send me the photos above.  There were many beautiful and sweet photos of Judy I would have loved to use. These seemed to me to show her essence. Remember her well.

Sorry to see Judy has passed.  We shared a locker in 7th grade and became friends.  She would invite me over to her home on weekends.  We shared having a large family and many laughs.

It was wonderful that you sent in Judy's profile and pictures.  I went to Sunday school and senior high and we went 1 year at Northwestern together.  She was always so composed and attractive!   My best wishes to her family.
