Pauline Millen Hawkins Sparks
Pauline Millen passed away February 2, 1982. Pauline’s mother’s maiden name was Frances Brown. She and Paul Millen were married March 7, 1941. Paul Millen passed away in 1998 and Pauline's mother passed 1993.
Pauline was born October 2, 1942 and I’m not sure what the exact cause of death was,however I remember my mom saying it had to do with her diabetes. She is buried at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto under the last name of Sparks.
She was married to William Hawkins and had 2 children (Debbie and James). He passed away in 1980 and she re-married to Robert Sparks and they had 1 child together.
Pauline was my 1st cousin, 1x removed. My grandmother and her father were siblings. I have enclosed her obituary. Her memorial can be accessed online at  findagrave.com

Pauline was one of the sweetest people, kind, giving, love her family. We would often go to the Rainbow dances together, I remember she taught me to Bopp. Fun days, thanks Pauline, you are missedMarilyn Hope Waide (Lake)
After much searching, I was unable to find an obituary for Pauline. Wouldn't it be nice if we were wrong about this, and the "rumors of her death were exaggerated."

Just because our classmates and friends are gone, does not make their former presence in our lives less important.
