EAST ALTON - Mary E. Zipprich, 54, died at 5:10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 1995, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis County after an extended illness.

Born in Alton Jan. 28, 1941, she was a daughter of Arthur M. Farmer of East Alton and the late Edna (Winkler) Farmer. Surviving are a daughter, Cheri Lynn Zipprich of Bethalto; three sons, Ronald Zipprich of Springfield, Jeff Zipprich of Orange County, CA, and Shawn Zipprich of Bethalto; six grandchildren, Eric, Nicole, Zachary, Samantha, Helen and Daniel Zipprich; and a sister, Carol Miller of East Alton. A son, Michael Eugene Zipprich, preceded her in death.

Visitation and services were at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. The Rev. Roy D. Williams officiated. Burial was at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.

Mary Farmer, was a happy little gal. Little being the important word here. She was so short I was afraid she would be trampled. A kind, friendly, sweet person, who will be missed by many
