I didn't know Anita. I remember seeing her and speaking to her as an acquaintance, but I didn't really get to know her.
I hope that one of her friends will post a proper "memory" tribute here.

I remember Anita as a truly sweet, quiet girl. She also was friendly and always nice to me.

I thought Anita was one of the sweetest and nicest girls I knew. I was closer to her in grade school than in high school. She was a good friend.

I knew Anita for 11 of my 12 yrs of school. A sweeter girl never lived.I never saw her mad or without a smile on her face. To her family, you were lucky to have her,but you already know that.

It's such a small world. I knew Anita, a swell, truly nice girl, all through school. And when my friend, Phillip Armstead, fell off the bluff at Riverview Park, Anita, who worked at the gravel and sand company, was the one who called the Emergency Service folks. Now they are both gone.

i remember:

Anita had a disposition that everyone was worth something she gave me hope praise and friendship

I was always in awe of her slenderness and her lovely blonde hair i wanted to be as she but with my weight at times there wasnt a piece of clothing that looked like it fit me. she could have been a modle with class i was shocked when i saw her name on the rememberance list. So sorry to see those good, nice funny and loveable people all gone.

At the risk of sounding like an echo of all the others  it is true that Anita was one of the sweetest and quietest girls in school.  She would never say anything bad about anyone.  She was a talented musician.  My sympathy to her family.   Jeanie
