Attended SIUEdwardsville and received a BA degree in Social Studies with a major in History and minor in political science and government. Taught History, both U.S. and World at Quincy Senior Hight School, Quincy, Illinois, from 1966 thru 1988 when I moved to St.Louis. Worked as technical placement specialist for Adecco Technical Services placing technical support personnel at companies such as Monsanto and Boeing locally. From 2002 until my retirement in July of 2016 I was an advocate customer service rep for Aesculap, a division of BBraun of Germany. Here I worked closely with major hospitals and company sales reps to insure that repaired or new surgical instruments arrived in time for scheduled procedures at hospitals such as the Barnes-Jewish consortium, SSM locally, the Mayo clinics, Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York, UCLA and USC in California, MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston as well as Cedars Sinai Medical Center, also in Los Angeles.

School Story:

Wow! So many memories so long ago; it's hard to recall. How can I ever forget all the practices for the Marching 100 under Boyd LaMarsh both at the Alton Senior High practice field and the Public School Stadium at West Junior High School. Then, the pre-game and half-time performances which even included formations that "moved" with the music. I remember one particular performance we did at the older Bush Stadium at the invitation of August Busch himself. This was for a Cardinals football game, remember them? Long before the move by Mr. Bidwell to Phoenix. I remember I had the pleasure(?)of using a fire extinguisher as we marched an early steam locomotive off the field and I "dusted" the Cardinal bench with CO2 foam! Honest-I didn't know they were leaving St. Louis!
