I graduated from Indiana University in 1964 and started teaching in Bloomington, IN . I met my husband at that school (he was the principal ). We were married 43 years untill his death Aug. 12,2009. We raised 2 sons and both of them live here in Murphysboro where I live. I also have 2 grandchildren and 2 grand-dogs. We moved back to Il in1966 where Bob was Supt. of Schools at Fisher, Il for many years and then Champaign County Asst Supt of Schools. We moved to Murphysboro where he finished his career untill retirement in 1987. I taught off and on at all these places. When he retired, I ended my teaching career, also. I then became manager of a furniture store and went on many trips as a buyer ( it is great fun to spend someone else's money ) I left there to care for my husband until his death. Now I keep the books and help my 2 sons run their 2 businesses. I haven't figured out how to stay retired...maybe someday...

So sorry to hear of Dan's death.I have to tell a funny story about the day I met Dan. I don't remember if it was kindergarten or 1st Grade but Dan joined the class a few days after school started and the teacher introduced him. That night I went home and told my Mom we got a new boy in our class and his name was Damnit Duck! The next day she asked the teacher his name and she said Dan McDuff. We all had a good laugh . Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear of Schubert's death. He was a wonderful person. My sympathy to his family. I remember he and I won a dance contest in high school and how much fun we had. Many fun times with Dave Ellington, George Rolla, Schubert, Pat Browning, and several others. RIP my dear friend! Sounds like you had a very good and successful life. Prayers to your family.
I am so saddened to learn of Judy's passing. We were friends as children and our mothers, along with Bill Kodros's mother, were in a bridge club together. We children shared lots of playtime together and many fun swimming parties during the summer. Those were great days.I have fond memories of time spent with her during reunions. She will be truly missed in Oct. at the 55th. My sympathy and prayers to her family.
